Requesting an upgrade, downgrade or cancellation

A service change may affect resource availability, data, licensing, pricing and commitment terms. Submit the request from your client account so the correct service and authorised owner can be identified.

Provide the details

  • Service reference and the requested change, including target resources or the proposed end date.
  • Reason for the request, any time constraints and whether related services must remain active.
  • Data-export or migration requirements, backup status and what must be retained.
  • A request to confirm the effective date, charges, notice requirements and any commitment that still applies.

Do not assume that stopping an application cancels the infrastructure or that a ticket instantly terminates billing. Wait for written confirmation of the agreed action and effective date. Export and verify the data you need before an authorised service deletion or termination.
